Re: Career after 12th standard with Biology? The students who want to pursue their career in Biology has many job prospectus. The job prospectus can be in variety of forms. One can go for research work, become a physician, surgeon. In these respected fields there is an inner field such as surgery which can be divided on area basis treatment like skin, hair, ear nose, brain etc. Nowadays there is great demand for surgeons especially in the hair treatment field. Some clinics have also been established by experienced and skillful surgeons. I was also going through the internet and found out few clinics which involve surgery for example Plastic Surgery, The Skin Clinic and Hair Transplant Centre, Vision Clinic etc. So choosing biology is never a bad option at all. As long as there is evolution the biology will always be in demand with the people. Pharmacy is also an emerging opportunity for students who want to take up biology as their subject in future. |

Re: Career after 12th standard with Biology? there are many career opportunityin BIO as well, best is to crack CPMT and be a medical doctor by doing MBBS. you could also opt for pharmacy way, by doing B.sc. in pharmacy you could start your own medical store. But if you do M.sc in pharmacy you may also become DRUG INSPECTOR etc. you may also go to BIOTECHNOLOGY or do MBA and opt your desirable career. mns.mshr |

Guidance is very important so dont forget to take good advice and consult with your elders, teachers, parents about your interest and future plans. There are few things to consider, fist is your interest, second thing is your weakness and the last is the easiness. Normally it has been seen those who prepare for IAS, IPS and other civil services chose history, public administration and political science subjects. So after 10th or 9th class you should choose arts if you want to prepare for Civil services. Some of the Areas and related course for career: MEDICAL-doctor ENGINEERING-CIVIL,mechanical, cs, electronic-choose science with physics, chemistry &math FINANCIAL-CA,C.S,ICWA, BANKING&INSURANCE SECTOR- choose commerce stream.
