AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test and it is a entrance examination conducted by Indian Air Force for recruitment of candidates in Air Force.

The online application for AFCAT examination is open now for Jan 2016. Yes ,you are eligible to appear for examination.

The eligibility to appear for examination is :-
* Candidate must have passed graduation with recognised university.
* Candidates must have mathematics and physics in 10+2 as main paper.
* Candidates age must be between 20-24 years.

So, you are eligible to appear for examination as final year candidates are eligible to appear for examination. For more information about examination visit at www.careerairforce.nic.in.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for AFCAT examination. So you can apply for it. The online application for examination is available now.

The eligibility to appear for examination for flying branch is :-

* Candidates must have passed three year graduation degree with Physics and Mathematics in 10+2 from a recognised university or B.E/B.Tech candidates are eligible.

* Candidate's age must be between 20-24 years.

* Candidates must have passed graduation with 60% aggregate and having no backlogs.

Candidates of final year are also eligible to appear in examination provided they do not have backlog at time of SSB testing.

# You are presently in the final year of engineering degree. I would like to make aware you that candidate in the final year of graduation are considered eligible for Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). In this way, you are also provisionally eligible.

# Other required eligibility conditions are:

* Must be Indian national.
* Must be above the age of 18 years.
* Must be below the age of 24 years.
* Must have good eye sight (i.e. 6/6 in good eye and 6/9 in worse eye)
* Must be free from any physical deformity.
* Must have the height of 165 cm.
* Must not be over-weight or under-weight.
* Must not suffered from any disease of serious nature.
* Must not have Knock Knee and Flat Feet.

Yes, you are eligible for AFCAT exam.

Eligibility criteria for AFCAT exam:-

Flying branch :-

Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade from a recognized university but you must have mathematics and physics in 12th standard.

Candidates age should be in between 19-23 years.

Ground duty branch:-

Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade.

Candidates age should be in between 20-27 years.

Am I eligible for Indian Air Force through AFCAT exam?

Hello,
I am M Santhosh kumar. i am studying final year BE MECHANICAL ENGINEERING.
Now the university exams for 7th semester is going on.
I like to join Indian Air Force as a pilot.
For that i have to write the AFCAT EXAM at the beginning of year 2016.
But now i am studying final year only. After the 7th semester university
exams my 8th semester will started in 2016 january.
I think the AFCAT exam is going to conduct on febraury 2016.
say am i eligible to apply for AFCAT exam?
can i apply for that exam as a final year exam?
