Re: Age limit for admission in LKG for 2016 session in CBSE school? As per your child date of birth he is now three years old,so first you give him in Play school.After one year i.e. your son will be 4 years old, then you can give him in LKG of CBSE school. |

Re: Age limit for admission in LKG for 2016 session in CBSE school? Yes,you can put him in academic year of 2016-2017 year for L.K.G standard in central board of secondary education. Age limits:-not less than 3 years. So your son age is in between or under the rules of schools. So you can put him into L.K.G without faced any problem. |

Age Criteria Required for Admission in LKG for 2016 session in CBSE School: Basically there is no such age criteria required in order to join CBSE for admission in LKG. But I know that there is a certain age criteria required for getting admission in 1st Class. The minimum age required to be eligible for getting admission in CBSE school for 1st Class is "Minimum 5 years". So based on this age criteria, we can come to a conclusion that age need to be below 4 years. So the minimum age required to get admission in LKG standard is "3.5 years" and for UKG minimum age should be 4 years. As far as your kid's age is concerned, your child is of course eligible to get admission for the academic year 2016-17. |
