Re: Which exam do I need to clear to become a deputy collector You should need to write civil service exam such as IAS,IPS ,IFS etc. Eligibility Criteria:- You should be a graduate degree in any discipline . Age limit:- Age must be between 21 to 32 years. You should be an Indian citizen. Exam Process:- Preliminary exam Mains exam |

Re: Which exam do I need to clear to become a deputy collector To became a deputy collector you have to be appear in IAS exam. And for IAS exam the candidate must have these eligibilities: - Candidate must have completed his/her graduation or degree from a recognized university with 60% marks, without any backlogs. - Candidate must be a citizen of India. - Candidate age must be above than 21 years for the exam but not be above than 32 years with 6 attempts for unreserved category. In case of OBC they get 3 years age relaxation and 9 attempts, for SC/ST 5 years age relaxation and no limit for attempts. Exam:- The exam is conducted by UPSC once in every year. Exam consist of two parts- Preliminary exam, held approx in the month of august and Main exam held approx in the month of Nov-Dec. Duration of exam is 5 days. After clearing the both exams the candidate will further go for the interview and selection based upon this interview. |

Re: Which exam do I need to clear to become a deputy collector Yes you can become Deputy Collector if you really passionate about it and you should work a lot. You have to write MPSC Entrance Exam. There are lot of options available in MPSC other than Deputy collector. It is actually public service and not the post. UPSC is a civil service Exam conducted every year by government of India for the post of IAS, IPS, IFS and many others posts. Eligibilty for Civil Servie: -Should be a Citizen of India. -Should be a Graduate (3 yr/ 4 yr course). -Age Limit- Minimum of 21 yrs Maximum of 32 yrs, Relaxation is there for Reserved candidates. Exam Process: -Preliminary Exam -Main Exam which is of Descriptive form ( UPSC will have optional subject but State level PSC's will not have optional paper). -Interview. |
