I am appearing for UPSC exam NDA stands for the National Defence Academy and it provides a better opportunity to the candidates who want to make there future in the Defence services. The examination is conducted by the UPSC twice every year. The examination is conducted for the recruitment of the Officers in the Indian Army, Navy and the Indian Air Force. There is common entrance for all these wings. The application form in the month of January and July and the examination are conducted in the month of April and September respectively as the NDA I and II. The total number of seats is 320 in which there are :- * Indian Army- 208. * Navy ---------42. * Air Force ------70. Also there are seats for the Naval Academy as 55. The eligibility to apply for the examination is :- * Candidate must have passed or pursuing the 10+2 from the recognised board. * Candidate must have PCM as main subject for the Air Force and the Navy. * Only male candidates are eligible. The examination is conducted in the two stages as the Written and the SSB. It is necessary to qualify in both the stages for the final recruitment in the services.
