I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for N.D.A at the age of 23 year. The age limit for N.D.A is 16.5-19 year. I you really want to join Defence then you can apply after passing graduation/Engineering with any stream. After passing graduation you have to qualify the Combine Defence Services Exam. C.D.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. The age limit for C.D.S exam is 21-24 year. For more detail log on to www.upsc.gov.in GOOD LUCK! |

Re: Admission to NDA after dropping out of BE course and age 23? Sorry to say but there is no chance as the upper age limit is 19 years for NDA entry. SO, you can take NDA exam. Better try for TGC entry or UES entry . |

Re: Admission to NDA after dropping out of BE course and age 23? As per your age, you are not eligible for National Defence Academy examination. Only those male Indian candidates can appear for the examination who have attain age between 16 1/2 to 19 years on the date of commecement of training. After completing BE you can apoear in CDS Examination or SSC examination. |

NDA examination is conducted by upsc twice an year and it is for 12 passed candidates. The age limit for NDA is 16 1/2 to 19 years, you donot fall in this criteria so you cannot give NDA exam. Besides this if you want to join Indian Defense Services, you can apply after completing your graduation either through CDSE or Direct Entry Scheme. |

You can not join NDA, because to apply for NDA your age should between 16 1/2 to 19 years, only then you are eligible to apply for NDA examination. So, you are not full fill the age eligiblity criteria, so you are not eligible to apply for NDA examination. |

The eligibility criteria of NDA- 1. Age limit: The age of the candidate must be at least 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the exam. 2. Education qualification: The candidates who have completed class 12th and the candidates who are going to appear for the class 12 or its equal exam are also eligible to submit an application for NDA exam. Candidates who are appearing for the NDA exam must be unmarried males. Re: Admission to NDA after dropping out of BE course and age 23? Any candidate over 19 years of age cannot apply for NDA. You have another option to go in after graduation. But since you have dropped out of the same you will not be eligible for the same. Also by the time you complete graduation you would have crossed the age limit required. So you need to think of other career options. |

As your age 23 year,you are not eligible to appear NDA exam any more. So please continue your studies further.After completing your B-tech,you can appear for CDS exam. This exam is also same,difference is only that NDA exam will be conducted for 12th standard candidates,were CDS exam is conducted for Graduate candidates. You can't get admission in NDA as your age is more .Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible . But you can try your luck by giving CDSE .The qualification requirement for CDSE is graduation but you can get into it after clearing the entrance test . The NDA or the National Defence Academy exam is conducted by the UPSC for selection of candidates to the NDA for training as an defence officer. The minimum Eligibility for NDA is as follows: Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed higher secondary from a recognized board. For candidates applying in Air Force or Navy, physics and maths are compulsory. Age Limit: Candidate must have achieved 16.5 years of age. Also, candidate must not be more that 19 years. So, as your D.O.B is 1988, so you do not stand eligible to appear for the NDA exam. However, if you are interested in joining the defence forces, then you must complete your graduation and apply for the CDS(Combined Defence Services). |
