Re: Am I eligible for UGC NET in Environmental Science NET(National Eligibility Test)is conducted by UGC 2 times within the year.Here candidate has completed Master Degree(Environmental Science)asked whether he/she is eligible for UGC NET. Yes you are eligible for the NET TEST before applying you are to follow UGC NET eligibility. UGC NET ELIGIBILITY:- 1.A Candidate having minimum 55% marks in PG degree from the recognized University can write UGC NET. 2.Relaxations for S/C S/T 5% available they are to obtain minimum 50% from the recognized University. 3.AGE: For lecturers there is no age bar is governed by UGC,Junior Reasearch Fellowship candidates age must be within 28 years. This NET certificate accelerate chances to derive lecturer ship as well as JRF candidates to avail this important course. |

NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted twice time in year by UGC. Those candidate who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55%and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its hold 50% above in masters degree. Age criteria for NET exam:- For JRF Post :-Your age should be below 28 years. For Lectureship Post :-There is no age criteria.
