Syllabus details are mention below -

  • The Cabin Crew Profession.
  • Landing the job.
  • Introduction to Aircraft & Aviation familiarization.
  • Crew member co-ordination & communication.
  • Customer Services.
  • Safety & Emergency Procedures.
  • Medical Emergency & Medical Training
  • Introduction to Dangerous Goods & Hazardious materials.
  • Aviation Security.
  • Service Procedure.

Eligibility Criteria:-
  • Interested candidates for this post must hold an intermediate in any stream from a recognized university.
  • You should be fluent in english, hindi and in any other Indian language.
  • This exam can only be given by unmarried candidates of India.
  • The lower age limit for this exam is 18 years and upper age limit is 24 years.
Selection Procedure:-

The selection procedure includes the following stages that needs to be cleared:-
  • Group Dynamics test.
  • Personality Assessment.
  • Personal Interview.
  • Pre-employment Medical Examination.
Pay-Scale/Remuneration:-
  • During Training period: Rs. 10,000
  • After Training period: Rs. 31, 880
There is no specific exam pattern for this exam. Air India or other such airlines whoever takes this exam has not released a proper exam pattern for this exam as yet.

The syllabus for airlines entrance exam for the post of flight steward includes awareness regarding duties of flight steward, current affairs and reasoning skill. You can refer to these following books for your preparation :

- The essential guide to becoming a Flight Attendant by Kiki Ward

- The complete Flight Attendant Interview Work Book by Sasha Robinson

- Work book for a interview by Jean Bright

The minimum eligibility to join flight steward are:

- Passed 10+2 in any stream from recognized board from English medium

- Age must be 18 but not more than 30 years

- Should know at least one foreign language
