Re: Detailed syllabus of Mathematics for NET exam? NET exams consist of 3 papers,paper 1,paper2 and paper 3rd. The syllabus for the Paper I is --->>> reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness Pattern: 60 MCQs will be asked out of which candidate needs to answer only 50. The syllabus for the Paper 2nd --->>> Questions in the section will be based on the subject selected by the candidate. pattern: 50 MCQs will be asked. Candidate needs to answer all of them. Each question carries 2 marks. The syllabus for the Paper 3rd --->>> Questions in this section will also be based on the subjects selected by the candidate. pattern: 75 questions will be asked each carrying 2 marks. NET stands National Eligibility Test. NET exam conducted by the UGC(University Grants Commission) two times in a year. NET exam has two types one is JRF(Junior Research Fellowship) and Lectureship. Eligibility Criteria: Nationality : Candidate should be origin of India. Educational Qualification: Candidate should pass the Post Graduation from any recognized University. Candidate required min 55% of marks in Post Graduation. 5% of marks relaxation for the SC\ST categories. Age criteria details for JRF:- The maximum age limit is 28 years and no minimum age limit. 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates, 5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Age criteria for Lectureship:- No age limits for Lectureship applying candidates. Exam fee details:- Rs 450/- for General category, Rs 225/- for OBC category, Rs 110/- for SC/ST category candidates. Syllabus of Mathematics for UGC NET University Grants Commission conducts the National Eligibility Test(NET) every year for candidates from all over India to apply for lectureship as well as Junior Research Fellowship Program.. The candidates who wish to appear for the NET Examination must satisfy the following conditions in order to appear for the NET Exam : 1) You must be more than 18 years of age to be eligible to appear for this exam.. 2) The maximum age limit for applying for the JRF is 28 years.. 3) You must have cleared your post graduation with a minimum of 55% as aggregate including all your subjects in your masters.. There are 3 papers to be cleared in UGC NET Exam.. Paper-1 based on your general awareness which is common for all streams Paper-2 and 3 will be based on your knowledge of the subject..
