Re: Is there any other exam except JEE Main and Advanced to get admission in IIT Kharagpur? IIT stands for Indian Institute of Technology and it is India's best institute for technical courses. The admission in the institute in the bachelor degree is through the JEE examination. So, to get admission in IIT you have to appear and qualify in both stages of JEE examination. There is no other way of getting the admission in the institute. |

Re: Is there any other exam except JEE Main and Advanced to get admission in IIT Kharagpur? IIT stands for Indian Institute of Technology. IIT colleges are best for any B.Tech/B.E courses in India. Students can get admission in IIT only on the basis of JEE Advance score. There is no other way available to get admission in IIT colleges. JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination. It is conducted by CBSE every year for admission in various engineering colleges. JEE is conducted in two parts: i) JEE Mains ii) JEE Advance JEE Mains is conducted in first week of April. The students who have completed 12th in last two years or going to appear for 12th boards examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board as students can appear only 3 times in the year of appearing in 2th board examination and 2 year henceforth only. JEE Advance is conducted in month of May. The students who have qualified in JEE Mains and also present in top 20 percentile of 12th board result in the year in which student appeared for 12th board examination, are eligible to appear in JEE Advance examination. Also, students can appear only twice in JEE Advance which includes the year of 12th board examination and the following year only. |

No, there is no other way to get the admission in IIT other than through JEE examination in undergraduate courses. To get the admission in undergraduate course candidates have to appear and qualify in two stages of JEE examination. JEE examination is conducted in Main and Advance stages and candidates after qualifying in both stages are eligible for admission in IIT. Re: Is there any other exam except JEE Main and Advanced to get admission in IIT Kharagpur? No, there is no other exam other than JEE which is a two step process.One need to qualify JEE MAINS and then take JEE ADVANCED and admissions are based on JEE(advanced) rank. |

No, there is no other examination for getting admission in Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur except Joint Entrance Examination conducted by CBSE every year. If you want admission in this institute, you must crack JEE Main as well as JEE advanced exam. The percentage of marks in 10+2 also plays a vital role in getting overall rank in this exam. You must aim to score good marks in 10+2 and perform well in JEE Main and Advanced stage for admission in IIT, Kharagpur. |
