Age Limit of BPSC Exam :

General Candidates : 19-24 years

OBC Candidates : 19-27 years

SC/ST Candidates : 19-29 years

The upper age limit for BPSC OBC category is they should not more than 40 years old.

There are various posts for which you can apply through Bihar Public Service Commission.These are :-

Ayurvedic Medical Officer.
Finance Officer.
Judiciary Officer.
Assistant Engineer.
Administrative Services.
Assistant prosecution Officer.
District Statistical Officer.

Educational qualification required :-

Candidates should have a bachelor degree from recognized university.
Candidates must posses bachelor degree from their respected field such as for Medical Officer candidates should have a M.B.B.S/B.D.S/Biotechnology degree where as for Judicial Officer must have a bachelor degree in Law.

Age Required :-

Candidates minimum age should be 21 years and Candidates age should not be above 30 years.
Candidates from Bihar state will be eligible to get age relaxation as per central government norms and it is as follows :SC and ST candidates will get 5 years of age relaxations and OBC candidates will get 3 years of age relaxations.

Selection Process :-
Selection of Candidates will be done in three phases.These are Preliminary Exam,Mains Exam and Personal Interview.

Preliminary Exam will include questions from two papers and each paper will include 100 questions.Total duration for each paper will be 02 hours and each paper will be of 200 marks.

Paper I (Objective Type) :

History and Geography with special reference to Bihar state.
Civics and Economics with special reference to Bihar state.
General Knowledge and Current Affairs with special reference to Bihar state.
English Grammar and Comprehension.

Paper II (Objective Type) :

General Intelligence and Reasoning.
Numerical Ability and Data Interpretation.
English Essay.

BPSC IS BIHAR PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION , its exam is conducted by state of bihar

the age limit for bpsc is

1, for general - 19-24 yrs

2. for obc -19-27yrs

3. for sc and st -19-27yrs

as you asked for obc candidate , a obc student can aplly till his 27th year , the minimum educational qualification is graduation from recognised university

Dear Friend,

The Full Form Of BPSC is Bihar Public Service Commission. The BPSC Exam is conducted every year by the Bihar State Government.

The Age Limit for BPSC Exam is :

a) For General Candidates : 19-24 years.

b) For OBC Candidates : 19-27 years.

c) For SC/ST Candidates : 19-29 years.

The Minimum educational qualification required for the BPSC Exam is Graduation from any recognized college/university.

So, Being an OBC Candidate , you can appear for the BPSC Exam unless and until your age crosses 27 years.
