What is the admission process to do LLB from IGNOU As per the Bar Council of India guidelines, universities are not allowed to offer LLB program via distance mode. Indira Gandhi National Open University does not offer LLB Program. It offers the following programs in Law like • Certificate in Consumer Protection • Certificate in Human Rights • Certificate in International Humanitarian Law • Certificate in Anti Human Trafficking • Certificate Programme on Co-operation, Co-operative Law and Business Laws • Post-Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights • Post Graduate Diploma in Criminal Justice • Post Graduate Certificate in Cyber Law You can seek admission in part time LLB course from other universities too where you have to attend classes few days in a week. The Bar Council of India has lifted the upper age restriction for the LLB courses. Earlier, BCI had fixed norms for LLB courses. For the five years LLB course after 12th standard, candidate’s age limit was 20 years. Anyone seeking admission in three years LLB course after graduation, age limit was 30 years. Age relaxation for the SC and ST candidates were provided.
