CAT stands for Common Admission Test. CAT examination is conducted by IIM's every year for admission in IIM and top level MBA colleges. Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university with above 50% marks are eligible for CAT exam. For SC/ST candidates the percentage is 45 % in graduation. There is no age limitation for the candidates. Final year student are also eligible for CAT exam. Pattern for CAT exam:- 1.Data Interpretation. 2.Quantitative Aptitude. 3.Logical Reasoning. 4.Verbal Ability. |

Re: Can I pursue MBA from IIM after completing B.Com from YCMOU Yes you can get admission in IIM for MBA (Indian Institute of management) but first of all you must clear the entrance test CAT (Common Admission test) is a computer based test held in India basis on quantitative ability, data interpretation, verbal ability and logical reasoning The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) started this exam and use the test for selecting students for their business administration programs. Test is conducted every year Exam Format - Candidates are given +3 points for each correct answer and -1 point for each incorrect answer. No points are given for questions that are not answered CAT had only 2 sections >> Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation >> Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning High score in one section does not guarantee a high score in another section. Percentile rankings are provided for each individual section as well as for the overall exam score Dates for CAT 2015 are expected to be released in July–August |
