For selection as CBI officer the candidates have to appear and qualify in CGL examination. CGL examination is conducted by SSC every year.

The eligibility to appear for examination is :-

Candidates must have passed bachelor degree from any recognised university.

Candidate's age must be between 19-27 years with relaxation in age for reserved category.

The examination is conducted in three stages and candidates have to qualify in all three stages for final selection. For more information about examination visit at www.ssc.nic.in.

CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation.

Those candidate who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CBI exam.

Age criteria :-

(i) Assistant Grade & Sub Inspectors in CBI –
Age between 20 to 27 years.

Minimum qualification required to become CBI:::::::::::>>>

->>You need to write the Union Public Service Commission Examination.

->>Those candidates who have completed their graduation with a minimum of 55% marks are eligible to appear for this exam.

->>You must be in the age group of 20 to 25 years as on the first of January of the year.

It is conducted by UPSC. You will get preference as per your rank.

Eligibility criteria are given below:-

Candidate must be a graduation degree holder from a recognized university.

Candidate must have at least 55% aggregate in their graduation.

Candidate age should not less than 21 years and should not exceed 42 years.

Candidate must be a citizen of India.
