Re: Reservation for NT-B cast in IIT JEE entrance exam After independence of India, this act was repealed by Government of India in 1952.NOMADIC TRIBES have not been included in the list of Scheduled Tribes because of some historical circumstances, but are listed as Scheduled Castes or "Nomadic Tribes". The tribes designated as "Denotified", "Nomadic" or "Semi-Nomadic" are eligible for reservation in India. |

So, all NT candinate is OBC for all facility provide by Indian Goverment. 2]But, In the state level having different resevation 2.5% for NT-B(Maharastra). |

You can check the IIT brochure if they have posted anything..But as far i know ..i dont think there is reservation.. So you will need to prepare for the general category and i dont find any harm in it |
