Re: Can I continue with MSc after pursuing B.Tech?

I am a working professional in IT with around 12 years experience . I am planning to do Mtech or Msc It in distance mode as I would like change my profession to teaching field after few more years . But I could see only Bits nil any offers Mtech , others like smu and amity offers only Msc It . I want to know whether Msc IT will help me get a lecture job in engineering college ?

Re: Can I continue with MSc after pursuing B.Tech?

It is not possible to do M.SC after completing B.TECH.M.SC stands for Master of Science and is post graduation in general subjects such as physics, chemistry and maths etc.
It is usually done after completing B.SC,bachelor course of three years.

But after B.TECH,which is a engineering degree, one can study M.TECH but M.SC is possible. As B.TECH is technological degree where as M.SC is for general subjects, only M.TECH compliments B.TECH.
M.SC is possible for bachelor of science students, bachelor degree in technology and master degree in non-technological subjects is not possible.
Bachelor degree should be of technological and masters degree too of technological. In other side bachelor and master degree either should be of non-technological nature.

Here B.TECH is technological degree, but M.SC is non-technological.They both do not compliment each other.
