Re: Scope for engineers in building management system? Dear sir, I have completed my engineering in electronics and communication and working as BMS operator in SIFY technologies Bangalore... I get only 15000 salary and i am not satisfied with that. I wanted to know whether there is scope for this field. Do I get opportunities to work in DUBAI in this field.. If yes, kindly mention what extra skills I should learn and what experience I should have? |

I am getting 11000/- I want to do any suitable course for bms. Please suggest.. Can I join directly through any company.. I am fully trained in cctv syst. FAS. PA syst.. Access control syst.. Additionaly I am trained in firefighting and First Aid. Worked as security incharge in Ashokleyland ltd for 4 years in hosur. Tamilnadu. |

Hiii....I am a BE ECE working with Nitin Group, as far as my job concerned its good, but in starting level u vl hav to do very boring stuffs like monitoring....but future is safe...go for it iffff u do have support of ur seniors of ur company. |

Re: Scope for engineers in building management system? hello.... i would love to reply becuse im also an Electronics and comm. engg. and right now pursuing MBA.as far as building mgmt system is concerned, u should go with it coz evrything is revolutionising around IT.so there is a greater scope in all the I.T. related fields.i suggest u to go abroad with this idea coz salary will be high there and u will learn a lot.as long as u are interested in the field, success wil b yours....just go for it!!!!! A BMS system generally generally deals with the security systems like Security and observation system,Magnetic card and access system, Fire alarm system,Lifts, elevators etc.,Plumbing system,Burglar alarms and Other engineering systems which are required for the safety of the buildings. As almost all the building needs to maintain this security,the scope in this field is not bad but especially in India the packages are not that satisfying. There is huge demand for it in the Arab countries.Couple of my friends too are there in Dubai working in this field after engineering.And they are earning quite well. But to work in the Gulf countries, minimum 2 years of experience is necessary. If you are interested in this field,then of course you can go ahead. |
