It varies every year and minimum 60% which is equals to 6 CGPA is needed for admission in Science streams, If you have planned to go for science streams having Math as an optional subject then you will have to study following subjects :

But the percentage criteria may vary and you can get this correct details only in the respective schools.

Candidates who have qualified 10th standard in all subjects are eligible to get admission in 11th standard of any stream.

But in case of cgpa It depends on the school ratings.Generally A rated schools expect 9 and 10 as competitions are really tough in terms of number of applicants. It varies from school to school, generally CGPA 8 is sufficient.

Re: How much CGPA is required in 10th to get admission in 11th PCM?

You have to wait for the notification to be declared to get the admission in the 11th std.

As, there is no any role of board to declare the minimum cut off marks for the admission in any school on the basis of marks in 10th or for admission in any specified stream.

So, please wait for the notification to be declared by the school.

Re: How much CGPA is required in 10th to get admission in 11th PCM?

To get admission in 11th standard PCM stream, you should have to pass your 10th standard with minimum 50% aggregate marks from a Government recognised board.

If your desire is to study your 11th standard in top schools, you must have at least 8 GCPA in your 10th standard.

Most of the schools offer admissions in 11th standard on basis of the candidate's 10th standard board examination marks and some top reputed schools like AMU, RMS, etc., conducts the written test to offer admission in 11th standard.

The only eligibility to get admission in 11th is candidate must have passed 10th from any recognised board. But, it is the school affiliated with the board have there own criteria to offers the stream on basis of marks.
