Re: Minimum qualifications required for Drug Inspector Exam? sir, i am currently doing m.pharma in pharmaceutical chemistry and i have passed b.pharma this year only. Do i also need 18 months work experience certificate for appearing in di exam after completion of my master's degree? |

Qualification: 1: you should have a Bachelor degree in Pharmacy(B.Pharm) or Pharmaceutical Sciences of Medicine in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized University or its equivalent 2:You should have minimum eighteen months’ experience in manufacture. 3:you age should be between 21yr-35yr for general candidates. 3yr relaxation for OBC and 5yr relaxation for SC/ST candidates. 4:You should be Indian citizen 5:You will be selected on the basis of Written examination and Viva Voce |

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : A candidate must have hold a degree in Pharmacy of Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialisation in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a University established in India by law. No person who has any financial interest in the import/manufacture of sale or drugs and cosmetics shall be appointed as an Inspector, under the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1945. Age limit for drug Inspector exam is 21 to 32 years if you are general category candidate. |

Re: Minimum qualifications required for Drug Inspector Exam? Drug Inspector are recruited by State public service commission and the eligibility may differ from one state to another. You must be Graduate in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Microbiology or Biochemistry or Medicine with specialisation in clinical pharmacology. Age limit for drug Inspector exam is 21 to 32 years if you are general category candidate. There is age relaxation for other categories. There will be written examination and personal interview that you have to pass to become a drug inspector. The questions in the paper will be from your field hence you must have grasp of what you have studied in your graduation. |

The DI examination is generally a State Service under the Health & Family Welfare Department ,conducted by Orissa Public Service Commission(OPSC) ,Maharashtra Public Service Commission(MPSC)as well as Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) etc.....
