Re: Whether an 18 years old candidate can apply for NDA 2017? NDA stands for National Defence Academy. It is a joint academy of Indian Armed Forces namely Army, Navy and Air Force. To join in NDA, you have to appear in NDA examination which is conducted by UPSC twice a year in the months of April and September. Eligibility criteria required to appear in NDA 2017 examination is mentioned below :- => You must be an Indian National. => You should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a Government recognised board. => You should be at least 16.5 years old and not more than 19.5 years. => You should be an Unmarried Male candidate. => You should be Physically and as well as Mentally healthy. As per the data you have mentioned in your query, your DOB is 13th April 1998 that means, you are 18 1/2 years old at present, since, you have not crossed the upper age limit of 19.5 years, you are eligible to apply for NDA 2017 examination. |

NDA stands for National Defence Service exam. Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam 2017. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam 2017. Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. |

As last date to apply for NDA is passed, so now you cannot apply for this exam. Also, you will not be eligible to apply for NDA (I) Exam 2017 as your DOB will be out of range then. NDA Exam 2016 will be conducted on 18th September 2016. Important Dates of NDA 2016 (II)

Whether an 18 years old candidate can apply for NDA 2017? My DOB is 13th April 1998. So, now i am very much confused that can i apply for NDA exam of 2017 or not? My age is 18 years now according to by DOB, can i apply for nda 2017 |
