Eligibility criteria for NEET exam: *Senior Secondary from a recognized board with essential subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology. *You must have minimum of 50% marks in board exam then only you can apply for this examination. *Candidate's age should be at least 17 years on 31st December of year of admission in MBBS and BDS course. You will be 17 years old on 18th July, 2017 and therefore you can apply for NEET 2017 exam. |

The minimum age required for the candidate to be eligible to appear in NEET 2017 examination is 17 years as on 31st December of the year of examination. The upper age limit is 25 years, in case of reserved category candidates, an upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable to appear in NEET 2017 examination. Since, you will attain the minimum age of 17 years as on 31st December, 2017, you are eligible to appear in NEET 2017 examination. |

It is an All India level Medical entrance examination conducted by CBSE for offering admissions under 15% All India Quota seats in MBBS/BDS courses in Government & Private Medical/ Dental colleges of India except in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir. To be eligible to appear in NEET 2017 examination, you have to satisfy the eligibility criteria stated below :- ::> You should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-Technology subjects taken together from a Government recognised board. ::> You should have also passed English as one of the subject in your 12th standard from a Government recognised Board. ::> You should be at least 17 years old as on 31st December, 2017 to be eligible to appear in NEET 2017 examination. The maximum age limit is 25 years as on 31st December, 2017. Upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government norms. As per the data you have mentioned in your query, your Date of Birth is 18th July, 2000, that means you will attain the age of 17 years 5 months old as on 31th December, 2017, so, you are eligible to appear in NEET 2017 examination. |

NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test which is a national level medical entrance examination held for admission in government or private medical colleges for undergraduate medical courses i.e; MBBS and BDS. --> The minimum requirement for appearing in the same examination are as here under :- * You must have the nationality of India with your age lying within 17 years to 25 years by the 31st December of that year in which you will appear in the same examination. * You must have completed your higher secondary school degree in science stream with PCB group with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized board. Relaxation of 10% is applicable for SC/ST and PH candidates. So being born on 18th July 2000, you are not eligible for appearing in NEET 2017 as your age will be under 17 years by the 31st December 2017. NEET stands for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. Eligibility criteria for the NEET :- -The candidate must be an Indian citizen or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI). -The candidate should have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects with minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for OBC/SC/ST candidates. -The candidate must be at least 17 years old as on December 31 of the year of examination. The upper age limit for general candidate is 25 years and 30 years for SC / ST / OBC category candidates. |

The age limit to appear for examination is 17-25 years and +5 years relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates. The required educational qualification is candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCB as main paper and have minimum 50% in it. |

For this exam your minimum should be 17 years and as per your birth date you will cross this age at the time of admission. You should also complete your 12th in PCB with minimum of 50% marks. The eligibility to appear for examination is :- Candidate must have passed 10+2 or appearing from a recongnised board. Candidate must have PCB as main paper with minimum 50% and relaxation for reserved category. Candidate's age must be between 17-25 years as on 31st December of year of appearing for examination. So, you can appear for examination and after qualifying in examination eligible for admission in medical institutes. |

Eligibility to appear in NEET 2017 >Candidate must be a citizen of India >Candidate must have completed their 12th board examination securing more than 50% marks or appearing in 12th board examination in 2017 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subject >Candidate must have completed 17 years on or before 31st December 2017 >Candidate must be of age less than 25 years. As per your date of birth mentioned, you will complete your 17 on 18th July 2017, so, you fulfill age eligibility for NEET and if you fulfill the other eligibility criteria then you can apply for NEET 2017. |

The minimum percentage required in 12th class for NEET examination is 50% in case of general category and 40% in case of reserved category. 3. NEET is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education for MBBS and BDS course. This is national level entrance examination who scorecard is used by all medical institutes for admission in MBBS and BDS course. The minimum age limit for candidate of any category is that candidates must have attained the minimum age of 17 years on the 31st December of year of examination. As per your date of birth, you will complete your 17 years on 18th July, 2017 and hence you are eligible to apply for NEET 2017. Academic qualification for NEET exam is that candidate must have done 10+2 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects. Minimum of 50% marks is required in 10+2. |
