NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test whish is a national level medical entrance examination held by CBSE once every year for admission in undergraduate medical courses i.e; MBBS and BDS from medical colleges across India except AIIMS. --> The minimum qualification which you must hold for appearing in NEET 2017 are as here under :- * You must have completed your higher secondary school degree with Science stream with PCB group with at least 50% marks from a recognized board of education. Further marks relaxation of 10% is permissible for reserved category candidates. * You must have nationality of India with your age lying within 17 years to 25 years by the 31st December of 2017. Further there is provision age relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates. So being born on 07/02/1992 and belonging to general category so you are not allowed to appear in NEET 2017 as you will be over 25 years old by the deadline date i.e; 31st December 2017. Re: Whether a 24 years old person can appear in NEET 2017? NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. Age criteria for NEET exam: The age limit for NEET exam is 17-25 years. Both lower and upper age limit is calculated on 31st December of year of examination. As per your date of birth which is 07/02/1992, you will complete your 25 years on 07/02/2017 well before NEET deadline date. Being a general category candidate, you are not eligible for NEET 2017 as per your date of birth. |

It is an All India level medical entrance examination which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for offering admission in first year of MBBS/ BDS courses in private and Government medical/ dental colleges in India except in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir. The maximum age limit to appear in NEET 2017 examination is 25 years as on 31st December, 2017. For SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates, upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable as per government norms. As per the information you have mentioned in your query, your DOB was 07.02.1992, you will cross the maximum age limit of 25 years as on 31st December, 2016, so, if you belong to SC/ ST/ OBC category, you are eligible to appear in NEET 2017 examination else, you are not eligible to appear in NEET 2017 examination. |

NEET stands for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. Eligibility criteria for the NEET :- -The candidate must be an Indian citizen. -The candidate should have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects with minimum 50% marks for general category and 45% marks for OBC/SC/ST candidates. -The candidate minimum age limit to apply for the exam should be 17 years as on 31st December 2017 and the upper age limit is 25 years. The upper age limit is relaxed for OBC/SC/ST candidates by 5 years. Exam pattern : There will be 180 multiple choice questions based on Physics, Chemistry Zoology and Botany subjects. There will be four marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Time allowed to write the exam is 3 hours. |

Re: Whether a 24 years old person can appear in NEET 2017? No, you will not be eligible to appear for AIPMT in 2017. The examination is conducted by CBSE. The age eligibility to appear for examination is 17-25 years as as on 31st December of year of appearing for examination. So, you will be above 25 years as on 31.12.2017. As per the eligibility criteria the minimum age required to appear in this examination is 17 and maximum should not exceed 25 years in case of general category and relaxation in upper age limit is provided to the candidates of reserved categories. |

National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Under Graduates acronym as NEET UG will be taken by CBSE on behalf of Ministry of Health and Medical Science. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA => Candidate must have passed 12th class from a recognized board. => The minimum percentage required in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for NEET examination is 50% in case of general and 40% in case of reserved category candidate. => The minimum age of candidate must be 17 years and upper age limit is 25 years for general candidates and 30 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
