M.Sc (Masters of Science) in Microbiology is an 2 years post graduation course which has 4 semesters. It deals with the spread of micro organisms, disease causation, diagnosis, treatment and practical training in the microbiology. The eligibility required to study masters in microbiology is the candidate should complete their graduation level degree in any related stream with minimum 50% from any recognised university. The admission process varies based on the state and university. Some universities conduct entrance test and give admissions & some give direct admission based on their graduation level percentage. Some of the top colleges are: - Maharshi Makandeshwar university, mullana, Ambala. - Lovely Professional University, Delhi, Jalandhar. - Dolphin Pg institute of biomedical & natural sciences, Dehradun. - Indian academy degree college, Bangalore. - Dr. B.
