Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for NDA examination. Girls are not allowed for the NDA entrance examination. If you are a girl and you are interested in joining defense, then you can successfully do so by giving and qualifying the Combined Defense Service(CDS)-Officers Training Academy exams.

I am sorry to say you that, girl are not eligible for NDA examination

for this only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this examination

NDA - stands for National Defence Academy, this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly twice

Hai,

Iam really sorry to say this you are not eligible for NDA being a candidate of completing 10th class.

Those Who have completed his 12th standard from a recognised state or central board is eligible for NDA(National Defence Academy).

In the above iam mentioned 'his' means only unmarried male candidates are eligible, girls are not eligible for this exam.

So first complete 12th standard then after apply NDA exam. NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in every year

That are

NDA-I,

NDA-II.

Your age should be in between 16.5 years to 19 years, and there is no age relaxation for the reservation candidates. The candidates who are applying this exam physically fit.

Also, there are no other options for girls to join Indian Army, Indian Air Force or Indian Navy after 12th class in technical branch.

If you want to join Defence Services, I suggest you to complete your graduation first. Then you can apply for Indian Army through CDS exams and AFCAT exams, NCC entry, Engineering Entry, Law Graduate and Post graduate entry.

CDS stands for Combined Defence Services.
CDS Exam are conducted by UPSC twice a year.

>>For applying CDS exams the candidate must be Graduated in any discipline from recognized university.

>>The age limit of candidate is from 19 to 25 years.

>>AFCAT:

AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test.

You join any one of the branches from these following branches:

2] Technical Branch:

B] The age limit is 20 -23 years

>>Short Service Commission Technical Women ( Engineer Entry ):

1] The candidate must have engineering degree in notified discipline
2] The age limit is 20- 27 years

>>Law Graduate
1] The candidate must have graduation degree with LLB / LLM with atleast 55%.
2] The age of candidate must be between 21 to 27 years.

>>NCC Entry
1]The candidate must have graduation degree. The candidate appearing in final year can also apply for this entry. He / She should have 2 years service in NCC senior division Army with atleast B grade in C certificate Exam.
2]Age of candidate must be from 19 to 25 years.
3]The candidate must be unmarried.

So, your first aim is to complete your graduation, then you will be eligible for all these entries.

No, a Girl is not eligible to give NDA Exam as NDA is exclusively meant for Male candidate only.

NDA - National Defence Academy exam conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Army, navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indsian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical Fitness.

Girls if interested for Defence services can apply for Officer's Training Academy through CDS entrance exam after Graduation.

Sorry you cannot apply for NDA but you can apply for CDS and for it the eligibility for it is:

*You have passed your graduation from recognized university.

*Age limit 19-25 yrs..

The NDA is not meant for Girls candidate as it only meant for Male candidate only.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having completed 12th in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

Girls can apply for CDS(Combined Defence Service) entrance exam after Graduation to join Officer's Training Academy.

The Government is thinking over to accept Girls candidate for NDA in near future.

Dear Friend,

Extremely sorry to say that there is no way for girls to give the NDA Exam.

This is all because of the Union Public Service Commission which has the sole right to conduct the NDA Examination every year.

According to the Eligibility Criteria Required for this exam which is set by the UPSC ,

only those candidates are eligible to sit for this exam who are male , unmarried and their age must lie in between 16.5-19 years.

So , you can see that there is no chance for you for selection in NDA being a Girl candidate.

For your kind information I would like to say that, girls are not eligible for the NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY [NDA],which is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION [UPSC].
I am very sorry, to say that , you can not attempt this examination.
But , you can apply for any branch of the Indian army, i.e. Naval , air force & military branch, after graduation from a recognized college,.
For apply in naval & in air force wing, you must have graduation degree wih physics & maths, with at least 60%,.
The age limit for the naval & air force in 19-23 years,.
but the age limit for the IMA [INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY] is 19-25 years,.
there is not any kind of age relaxation criteria is applicable for the SC\ST\OBC candidates,.
Also,. you must have Indian nationality with marital status unmarried.

Hi Nilesh.

Let me tell you the basic criteria's which NDA has imposed for the applicants :

1. Only unmarried MALE candidates are allowed.
2. His age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.
3. He should have passed HS from a recognized state board or school scoring a minimum 50% marks aggregate.
4. Maths is a compulsory subject if you wish to join the NAVY or AIR FORCE.

Hence you see, that in the NDA exam, only Unmarried male candidates can apply.

You can always try for the other Army entries like the SSB, UPSC examination.

As you are female then you are not eligible..

You can join in Indian Army through CDS exam after completion of graduation..

So, go for graduation first...

Sorry you can't attempt for the NDA exam because NDA exam is only for the boys.
But you can give SSB exam after completing your graduation course for course like short term pilot service in Navy.The SSB is of a fourteen year service.
You can apply for the SSB by posting your educational qualifications and your 10th class certificate showing date of birth.
The notification and format of the application will be published in The Hindu newspaper or the weekly journal Employeement news.
You can even apply for the Officer's academy after completing your graduation course.

There are no allocations for girls to apply for the NDA exam as it is mentioned in the criteria that only unmarried male candidates are only eligible for the exam.if at all the education qualification needed for the NDA exam is +2 and as you have doing your degree,you are unfit to apply for the NDA exam and there are several other criteria's namely like age limits and physical standards that the candidates must possess and as you are a girl,i am sorry to say that you cannot apply for the exam,apply for any other defence service exam,if you are so much interested.

Dear,
I regret to inform you that the girls are not allowed to give the NDA exam as the eligibility criteria says that only unmarried male candidates are allowed for the NDA.
The minimum educational qualification required is 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 70% marks.
Age limitation is between 16.5 to 19.5 years.
No color blindness with 6/6 eyesight.
Minimum height --> 157.5 cm.
Chest expansion--> 5 cm ( minimum ).

If you are interest so much,to do service to our country,then you can appear for CDS exam after your graduation.

NDA ELIGIBILITY ::

Male candiates with age between 161/2 to 19 years.
Must have passed 10+ 2 examination from any stream for ARMY and for AIRFORCE AND
NAVY you must have PCM as subjects.

But there are others entries for girls ::

SSC technical and non technical
Direct entry if you have NCC 'C' certificate

no a girl is not eligible for NDA exam. BUT after completing your graduation or when you are in final year graduation you can apply for CDS SSC.

INDIAN ARMY
Age Limit - 19 to 25 Yrs
Qualification - BE/Graduate with 60%
Publication - Jun
Application Submission – Jul

INDIAN NAVY
Age Limit - 19 to 25 Yrs
Qualification - BE/B.Tech
Publication - Dec/Jan
Application Submission - Feb

INDIAN AIR FORCE (FLYING)
Age Limit - 18 to 23 Yrs
Qualification - BE/Degree with Math's & Physics
Publication - Mar/Apr
Application Submission - May

INDIAN AIR FORCE (GDOC)
Age Limit - 19 to 24 Yrs
Qualification - BE /MBBS/LLB/MBA/PG
Publication - Mar/Apr
Application Submission - Apr

you can also give SSB and to apply for SSB, you have to complete your graduation. Because graduation is the minimum eligiblity to apply for SSB.

Only unmarried male candidates are allowed and that too between 16.5 to 19 years with

PCM i.e. physics , chemistry , maths as their key subjects in class 12th.
