Re: Am I eligible for IBPS & SBI SO Officer Post, being an EEE Graduate? I have completed my graduation in Electrical Engineering however while filling the SBI SO form there is no option from drop down for Electrical Engineer in Subject/Stream tab. Also if I select only Engineering option from the drop down list, it will get an error. What should I in Subject/Stream ? |

What should we select in the subject/Stream for SBI SO exam during form filling as there is no option for Electrical Engineering? Also if we select only Engineering from the drop down option I am getting an error to select the graduation. |

IBPS SO or SBI SO examinations are conducted for the recruitment of Specialist officer for different nationalized banks of India and for the each post there is different educational qualification according to the working of different posts. Since you are graduate with Electronics and Electrical Engineering and hence you are eligible for appearing in the same examination for the post of IT officer but you need to have two years work experience with the Bachelor of engineering / technology degree. Also for the same examination you are nationality must be Indian with your age lying in between 20 years to 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per the government norms. Apart from the post of SO , you to have the option of becoming Probationary Officer and Bank Clerk in the banking sector for which you will need to clear their respective entarnce examination i.e; IBPS bank examination or SBI bank examination. Am I eligible for IBPS & SBI SO Officer Post, being an EEE Graduate? Sir, I have completed my B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (E.E.E.) in 2014. Am I eligible in applying for IBPS & SBI SO(Specialist Officer) Post ? In the Notification, they have only mentioned ECE, CSE, IT & EIE branches but not EEE. Please clarify this doubt. Thanks in advance. |
