If I apply for IES 2021 examination in Sep-2020 but pass section B in June 2021 then in this case can I apply for the same.

If you have completed or appearing last year of degree from AMEI, then eligible to apply for IES. IES is the Indian Engineering Services Exam conducted by UPSC.

IES Eligibility
- You must be Indian Citizen.
- You should have passed B.E./B.Tech or appearing final year from a recognized university.
- Your age should be between 21 to 30 years on 1st January of the examination year.
- Maximum attempts allowed are 6 for General, 9 for OBC & No limits for SC/ST.

- Main Exam
- Interview

Paper I : General Studies & Engineering Ability
- 200 Marks
- Time Duration : 2 Hours

Paper II : Engineering Discipline

IES stands for Indian Engineering Services.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Engineering Services.

1. Candidate must have passed degree from a recognized university.

2. The age of applicants should be in between 21 to 30 years.

As per my knowledge, you are eligible to apply for IES exam after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and qualifying AMIE exam.

No, AMIE candidates are not eligible for IES exam.

IES Stands for Indian Engineering Service examination.

Those who have completed bachelor engineering degree course are eligible to apply for IES Examination but your written exam subjects are -CIVIL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING. You can choose any one subject from above mentioned subject. M.Sc Degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering are also eligible for IES exam.

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years.

AMIE stands for Associate Member of Institution of Engineers. The eligibility criteria for Indian Engineering Services or Engineering Services examination is bachelor's degree in engineering or technology from a recognized university. Final year engineering candidates can also apply for examination.

AMIE degree is valid for IES Entrance examination. You can apply for IES examination after bachelor's degree from AMIE. The age limit for IES examination is 21-30 years. IES examination is conducted in four disciplines like Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication engineering and Civil Engineering.
