Re: What is the advantage of CBSE over ICSE?

CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education and ICSE refers to Indian Council of School Examination and both these are two of the three Central board of examination providing education upto higher secondary school level in English medium with their affiliated schools all around India.

As far as you are concerned about the best among CBSE and ICSE then in my view both has its own edge over the other in some way as the academics of ICSE is more advanced as compared to that of CBSE which helps when if looking to clear competitive examination like JEE or NEET.

Meanwhile CBSE is better over ICSE in terms that the competitive examinations like JEE or NEET are held by CBSE and question pattern of these examination is bit more familiar to the students of CBSE. Further the syllabus of CBSE academics is more a routine form which is more helpful when preparing for government services examination.

ICSE v/s CBSE

ICSE syllabus has given little more importance to English language
where as in CBSE more focus is on MATHEMATICS.
CBSE Mathematics is more organized and if studied well they helps a lot in any GOVT exams.
CBSE syllabus is design in a way that it help a lot in GOVT Entrance Exam.
ICSE Mathematics also cover all the area of mathematics but is little disorganized
where as ICSE student can perform well in ENGLISH section
of any GOVT Examination as ICSE ENGLISH syllabus is more organized.

Re: What is the advantage of CBSE over ICSE?

Hi dear

there is big difference between cbse and icse course:-

CBSE or Central Board of Secondary Education is one of the most popular school boards in India. The board is responsible for preparing the syllabus for class 9 to 12th, secondary and senior secondary level. Another important function of CBSE is to conduct examinations based on the prescribed syllabus. It is a recognized board and its syllabus incorporates the national curriculum as well as additional subject matter. The board conducts two examinations – All India Secondary School Examination, AISSE (Class X) and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination, AISSCE (Class XII).

ICSE on the other hand is one of the two examinations conducted by yet another board, CISCE or Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination. It is similar to AISSE conducted by the CBSE. Its (CISCE’s) equivalent for AISSCE is the Indian School Certificate or ISC.

Good Luck..............
