Re: Can I apply for B.Ed course with 40%? The minimum percentage criteria needed to get admission in B.Ed colleges are only 45% marks in graduation affiliated to any recognised university of India. But you have got only 40 % then it will create problem for you because there is not a single college which provides admission for such a low marks holder. Only Sc/St candidates are eligible to get admission at only 40% marks.If you will be from Sc/St category then only you can take admission otherwise there is no chance for you. There are some reservation of seats for the Physically handicapped student also hence if you will be physically handicapped then also you will be eligible to take admission. Some of the reputed government colleges which provides admission in B.Ed for more than 45% marks holder are listed as below:---> Kamala Devi Sohanraj Singhvi Jain College of Education Department of Education, Rabindra Bharati University Scottish Church College Sammilani Teachers Training College Satyapriya Roy College of Education Jagadish Chandra Basu Sikshak S Mahavidyalaya Calcutta Girls BT College Some of the other college which provides B.ed Course in a distance mode are listed as below:-->> Annamalai University Madurai Kamaraj University Jamia Millia Islamia Kurukshetra University Kakatiya University Top Open Universities Indira Gandhi National Open University Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University Karnataka State Open University Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University Netaji Subhas Open University |

Re: Can I apply for B.Ed course with 40%? Candidates who have scored 45% aggregate marks in degree are eligible to get admissions to BEd courses as per government orderss. It is a National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) norms for admissions to B. Ed courses which has decided 45% as the minimum marks for admission. Incase of reserved categories and physically handicapped, minimum marks for seeking admission will be 40 per cent. You need to identify the college and fill in the forms along with the attached documents. |
