The eligibility for appearing in Common Law Admission Test is that candidate must have passed 12th or even board appearing candidates are also eligible. The minimum required percentage in board examination is 45% for general candidates. So, you can apply for examination but it is necessary that result and marksheet must be declared and present at the time of admission. The application form for examination is available now. |

CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test. ~~Board examination appearing candidate can apply for Common Law Admission test. CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test and examination is conducted for admission in B.A LLB, LLB etc. Yes, you can appear for examination and for that you have to fill the application form for examination which is available now. The candidates pursuing in 12th are eligible to appear for examination but have to submit the final marksheet at the time of admission. The examination will be conducted on 14th May 2017. CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test and same is held for admission in NLUs ( National Law University ) of India once in a year. * The minimum eligibility criteria required for appearing in CLAT 2017 are as given below :- i) You must be an Indian candidate with your age lying under 20 years by the 1st July 2017 if you belong to general category otherwise 22 years for reserved category candidates. ii) You must have completed your Class 12th with any stream with at least 45% aggregate from a recognized university. Students going to appear in their Class 12th board examination are also eligible. So being a student of Class 12th and going to appear in your board examination you are eligible for appearing in CLAT 2017 but you must submit the proof that you have passed your Class 12th with required percentage at the time of your admission. About CLAT exam: CLAT is competitive exam for law candidates who wants to pursue undergraduate courses in law from top law colleges of India. Eligibility criteria of CLAT: Your percentage of marks in board exam of 12th should not be less than 45%. Candidates appearing for board exam in 12th can also apply for this exam. Again Bar council of India has introduced age limit criteria in CLAT exam. It is 20 years for general candidate and 22 years for OBC and SC/ST candidate. |

The eligibility criteria required to apply for CLAT 2017 are as under :- -The candidate should be an Indian citizen . -The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent degree with at least 45% (40% for SC/ ST candidates) marks in aggregate from a recognized University. -The candidate who are appearing for the 12th exam in 2017 are also eligible to apply for the exam. -The candidate should be below 20 years of age as on 1st July, 2017 (22 years in case of SC/ST and PWD) . |

The eligibility criteria for National competitive exam for law is: 1. You must have passed 12th or appearing for board exam results. You will appear for board examination of 12th in 2017 and that is why you can apply for CLAT 2017 examination. 2. Yes, you are eligible to appear for examination as per your qualification. The eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board with minimum 45% and with 40% for reserved category. CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test and same is a national level entrance examination held for admission in undergraduate law degree course in various NLUs (National Law Universities) of India. --> The minimum eligibility criteria required for appearing in CLAT 2017 are as here under :- * You must have the nationality of India. * Your age must lie under 20 years by the 1st July 2017 if you belong to general category. Further for students belonging to reserved category candidates, age relaxation of 2 years is allowed. * You must have completed your Class 12th in any discipline with at least 45% marks ( 40% in case of reserved category candidates ) from a recognized board. Students going to appear in their Class 12th board examination this year are also eligible. So it is evident from the above mentioned eligibility criteria that being a final year student of Class 12th you are eligible for appearing in CLAT 2017 if you satisfy the age requirement for the same too. It is conducted by National Law university for selection of candidates in Bachelor's degree in law. To apply for CLAT 2017 candidate must have done 10+2 or appearing for board exams. Board appearing candidates are eligible for 2017 examination. You must score 45% or more marks in 10+2 if you belong to general category and it is 40% for SC/ST candidates.
