CLAT Exam Eligibility Criteria:-
  • If you wish to give this exam then you need to be a higher secondary passed out student or its equivalent. It is important for you to score 50% of marks in aggregate.
  • There is percentage relaxation for the reserved category candidates. For SC/ST/OBC candidates or physically handicapped ones the percentage to secure is 45% of marks.
  • Even the final year students who are about to give the final board exam or awaiting the result of the final year exam are eligible to give this exam.
  • The upper age limit for this exam is 20 years. There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates.
  • For the SC/ST candidates and persons with disabilities the upper age limit is 22 years.

How To Apply?
  • The application kit can be easily attained by paying Rs. 3000 in any branches of State Bank of India. Along with the application form you will also get the information brochure which contains detailed information of every national university which are a part of CLAT exam.
  • Another option is also available. You can get the application kit by sending a demand draft to the national law university in charge for conducting the exam that year. They will send you the brochure along with the form.

To know more about the Fees structure of the individual universities you can visit the CLAT official website and download the pdf's citing details of each university. But i would suggest that is not needed. Since in the application kit itself the brochure is there where the fee structure has been mentioned in details. So you need not go anywhere else.

Hope this helps :-> :->

CLAT is the acronym used for Common Law Admission Test.
This is basically an Entrance Examination which is conducted jointly by 14 National Law Universities of India under the regulation of Bar Council of India.
Candidates who qualifies the test are eligible to apply for admission into any of the 14 participating National Law Universities.

The Information Brochure of Common Law Admission Test costs:

Rs.3000 For candidates belonging to General and OBC category.
Rs.2500 for SC/ST category.

As far as fee structure of the course is concerned, it varies depending upon the participating Law University.
