Re: Minimum percentage required in btech to do MS in US?

Hii, I think i am right person to answer this question.As I am admitted student of MS IN US in fall 2020.First thing US is always concern about your percentage in BTECH.
In least case you need clear the BTECH without any backlogs.
The better case is having the Percentage >70 and best case is having percentage>80.
Ofcourse it depends on the university your applying.In US some universities are CGPA Centric ,some are GRE ,IELTS centric.If your applying for top 100 universities that too CGPA centric then you need percentage>85 otherwise you can rejects too.

Re: Minimum percentage required in btech to do MS in US?

Hai friend
You need to have minimum of 70% in B.Tech to get admission easily in MS course in US.And you need to attend for the following exams like:
-->GRE
-->TOEFL
These exams consists of english part mainly and tests your verbal knowledge.So try to start your preparation from third year to score good marks in GRE and TOEFL and attend for the exams from third year onwards.If you score good marks,then you can get a seat in good university in MS course in US.
Thank You

hi,

For Getting good college in USA you need good marks in GRE atleast 1400 or above then you will also get scholarship .
If you pass your degree it is ok for the admission yes you will not get more advantages then.

Re: Minimum percentage required in btech to do MS in US?

Try to score little more in your fourth year so that you move ahead.

Try to score well in GRE and TOEFL exams,The more you score the better Institute you get yourselves placed.The test consists majority of English which tests your aptitude level,mental and general ability and checks your verbal knowledge.

So,its better that you start preparations for GRE or TOEFL from now itself if you have an aim of studying MS in US.

All the best
