Re: I have filled wrong dob in IIT application form :( If you have filled wrong dob, then without wasting your time contact iit administration for solution. If you don't get any response from them, then buy a new form fill it correctly and send it look once you lost the last date of form submission then, it would be hard to solve any problem. |

Re: I have filled wrong dob in IIT application form :( i have filled the IIT JEE 2012 form online.by mistake,i wrote CBSE insted of State Board in the qualifying examination (only 10th was CBSE & 2 is State Board). This mistake was observed after application was sent by Regd post. Kindly advise. |

The contact information is given in the IIT prospectus. You can also see the application status on the website of iit. First you must to contact the IIT office. all the best. |

Re: I have filled wrong dob in IIT application form :( At first your form will be rejected.In case if it doesn't gets rejected then you will have problem while getting admission because at that time they will check each & every detail of yours.So you will be disqualified.You can ask for help from them.One more thing you can buy another form.May that will help you. |

Re: I have filled wrong dob in IIT application form :( You have to contact IIT office as quickly as possible by mail, telephone or by going to the IIT office directly before the last date of submission of the fourm. I hope you will be allowed to sit in the entrance exam. |

Re: I have filled wrong dob in IIT application form :( Hi! Pulkit i also faced same proble but i tried a lot to contact iit zone bt they didnt reply. So, when i read prospectus again i got the solution. U just write an application to your zone that is indicated in prospectus. Make a draft of 1000 Rs. and attach with your application and your form no. and all other details. |

Don't worry Man, buy a new application form , its not the matter of few green notes but its the matter of your life, your future.it is only possible If you haven't sent your Application form. But if you have sent your form then nothing can be done because if you send multiple forms then there will be more chance of rejecting application form. Better you contact your Zonal Authority. |

Re: I have filled wrong dob in IIT application form :( you will face problem at the time of councellig not before that. so, if you are quite sure that you will crack IIT-JEE then i will advice you to contact the iit authorities and request them for correction . don,t fill another form without the instruction of jee official because it may lead to the cancellation of your form. contact the IIT ZONAL office .the address is given in your application bronchure provided with application form. |

If you want to give the exam for just a try then no need to worry or if you are expecting a good rank then you should either fill a new form or contact them immediately. |

Re: I have filled wrong dob in IIT application form :( hello dear, As this is the big mistake though your form is not liable to rejection but this mistake will create problem of the time of admission. i would like to suggest you to contact to your zonal IIT and ask them for the problem. they have a few provisions regarding this type of mistake. contact no. of different zonal IIT are given at the last page of your JEE bulletin or you may get it from the following url http://www.iitg.ac.in/jee/ |
