Re: Which all subjects are given in class 6th standard?

As per the latest NCERT syllabus, the following subjects are taught in Class 6th:

1. Mathematics
2. Science
3. English
4. Hindi
5. Social Science (History, Civics and Geography)

Now here are a few tips to study well in class 6th and score good marks:

1. Be focused: It is important for you to remain focused such that you know what are the subjects you are dealing with and how are you going to study each one of them.

Maths - Practice, Social Science - Majorly Mug Up as much as you can, Science - Understand and Practice as much as you can, English and Hindi are languages and therefore you can speak, interact, learn and practice with these.

2. Do not waste much time: On Gadgets, or with friends hanging out. Have a specific play time and do not go beyond that. It would ensure that you are disciplined and also make scope for you to study more.

3. Practice and Revise: As said before, there would be a time when it would be difficult for you to cope up. Thus, if you revise regularly you would not forget the old stuffs that you had done and therefore can study and learn more further as well.

Apart from this, talk to friends who are studious and discuss ideas with them. It would help you in the long run.

There are total five subjects in 6th standard.

  2. English
  3. Mathematics
  4. Social Science
  5. Science

You should prefer NCERT books to score good marks and try to practice mathematics as much you can. You can also take help from previous year CBSE exam papers.
