NEET stands for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test which is conducted by CBSE for admission in medical courses like MBBS, BDS etc Age requirement is 17 years plus. So in the year 2017 ,your age will be 17 years. So,you are completely eligible for NEET |

NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test which is a single medical entrance examination instead of AIPMT, State PMT and other universities medical entrance examination held by CBSE once every year for selection of students for their admission in undergraduate medical courses i.e; MBBS/BDS from medical colleges of India. --> The minimum qualification which you must have for appearing in the NEET 2017 are as here under :- * You must have the nationality of India with your age lying within 17 years to 25 years by the 31st December 2017. * You must have either completed your Class 12th or going to appear in the Class 12th board examination from a recognized board of education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your main subjects with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the same. So being born on 03/01/2000 you are certainly eligible for appearing in NEET 2017 on the basis of age criteria as your age is well within the required age limit of same examination. Eligibility for NEET exam 2017:- The candidate should have passed plus two from a recognised University with at least 55% marks with the subject of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Age limit:- The minimum age limit is 17 years and maximum age limit in 25 years as on 31st December and this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 years for SC/ST/ OBC category The candidate must be citizen of India . Number of attempts:- A maximum of three attempts. |

It is an All India level medical entrance examination which is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for offering admission in first year of MBBS/ BDS courses in private and Government medical/ dental colleges in India except in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir. Eligibility criteria required to appear in NEET 2017 examination is mentioned below :- => You should have completed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with PCB stream and English subject with minimum aggregate of 50% marks from a Government recognised university. => You should have attained the minimum age of 17 years as on 31st December, 2017 and should have not crossed the maximum age of 25 years as on 31st December, 2017 to be eligible to appear in NEET 2017 examination. => Upper age relaxation of 5 years is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government norms to appear in NEET 2017 examination. As per the information you have mentioned in your query, your DOB was 03.01.2000, that means, you will be nearly 18 years old as on 31st Dec, 2017, so, you are eligible to appear in NEET 2017 examination. |

As per the NEET eligibility criteria a candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognised board with at least 50% marks and 45% in case of General Category. Candidate must have age in between 17 to 25 years and relaxation in upper age limit given to the candidates of reserved categories. Hence you can only appear if you are 17 years old in the year of examination and admission. |

Eligibility criteria for the NEET 2017:- -The candidate must be an Indian citizen or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI). -The candidate should have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English subjects with at least 50% (45% marks for OBC/SC/ST candidates) marks. -The candidate age limit to appear for the exam should be in between 17 to 25 years as on December 31, 2017. There will be relaxation in upper age limit by 5 years for SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates. |

Age relaxation of 5 years is provided to reserved category candidates. c) You must have passed your Class 12th or must be appearing in the board examination in 2017 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects with at least 50% aggregate from a recognized board of examination. So being born on 3/01/2000, you are definitely eligible for appearing in NEET 2017 if you satisfy the other criteria too apart from the age criteria. But, the minimum age limit for appearing in the examination is only 17 years so you can appear for the examination. You must have studied Biology, Physics, Chemistry in 10+2. Board appearing candidates can also apply for exam. 2. You need to have minimum of 50% marks in board exams to apply for the board examination. 3. Your age on 31st December,2017 must be 17 years. You will of 17 years on 03rd January, 2017, you are eligible for NEET exam 2017. |

Can I appear in NEET 2017 if born on year 2000? My date of birth is 03/01/2000, so may i be eligible for Neet-2017 exam my target is admissions in BDS. So please guide me accordingly. |
