Re: How to take admission in regular college in MCA after completing BCA from IGNOU I am also graduate student in arts. I have done currently BCA first semester from SMU. So can I do MCA now? Because in BCA 1st semester i have done mathematics subject. |

MCA is a Post Graduation Course which is usually carried out after the Graduation. If you are really interested in Computer and its applications then you can opt for this course. As you have completed your BCA you can easily get the admission into the course, but the graduation should be followed by an entrance examination for admissions. You need to appear All India MCA Common Entrance Test . This course has a time period of 3 years. Quite a lot of universities as well as colleges are there in our country that offers MCA programs. Specializations available in MCA : Application Software Development Engineering Hardware Technology Internet Software Development Networking System Management Trouble Shooting Eligibility Criteria : Aspirants who have a BCA, BBA or B.Tech graduation degree can apply for the MCA course. The graduation's aggregate should be more than 50%. Also the students who have finished their graduation in science can apply but the note to be considered is, these students must have studied Mathematics as a subject in class 10+2. The plus point regarding this course is, there is no age limit to take the admission into this course. Students must have computer science, mathematics or statistics as a subject at the 10+2 level .
