For this you have to qualify the exam like G.A.T.E etc. In my opinion you should not change the stream.You can go for Aeronautical engineering after that you can apply for may govt. or private job. Re: M.Tech in Mechanical after B.E in Aeronautical engineering? Yes you can opt for Mechanical Engineering in M.Tech after B.E in Aeronautical engineering. There is no such bounding in M.Tech that you need to take that same branch which you have taken in B.E. So you can take Mechanical Engineering in M.Tech. But it will be beneficial to you if you pursue Aeronautical Engineering in M.Tech. |

yes,you can.But you have to appear in GATE Entrance Exam with ME(Mechanical Engineering) branch.And must have a valid Gate score card. And you must have 60%(55% for SC/ST) or above in B.tech,B.E or Equivalent. IIT Guwahati and IIT kharagpur are specialized for Mechanical Branch among others IITs. Thanks khanddn |

Re: M.Tech in Mechanical after B.E in Aeronautical engineering? Yes Vignesh you can opt for an M.Tech in mechanical after aeronautical. But intially you might feel indifferent but you can cope easily as aeronautics is also to do with a lot of mechanical stuff. |
