Re: Admission in B.Tech CS or IT is possible after B.Sc? B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology. There are many competitive entrance examination conducted every year for admission in B.Tech like JEE, State level engineering entrance examination, SRMEEE, VITEEE etc. The minimum academic qualification required for admission in engineering course is that candidates must have done 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. But for JEE, there are three consecutive attempts for Main stage and two for Advanced stage after 10+2. You can apply for Lateral Entry Entrance Test for admission in Bachelor of technology. Bachelor of Science with 60% marks or more can apply for this examination to get admission directly in second year of engineering. |

Re: Admission in B.Tech CS or IT is possible after B.Sc? B.Tech or Bachelor of Technology is an Under graduation course. As per my knowledge, you are eligible to get Admission in B.Tech CS or IT is possible after B.Sc. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA => Candidate must have passed 12th class with PCM from a recognized board or Candidate must have passed Bachelor degree i.e B.Sc with at least 55% from a recognized university. => For this you have to appear in Lateral Entry Engineering Test. NOTE: For B.Sc candidates to get lateral entry will have to follow the patter of 10+2+3 which means B.Sc course after 12th. |
