Re: How to make correction in father's name in 10th certificate? Respected sir, I have filled my full surname in application form of csir-net , but in my 10th and 12th marksheet only my name is written. so please let me know how to correct my application form after final submission. |

You need to write an application to your Examination controller of State Board of Education with subject as "correction in father's name" in secondary and senior secondary certificate. Along with application, you need to attach any valid document which contains your and your father's name correctly. There is nominal fees charged by board for reissue of new certificates. Once your application reach either regional center or head office of your board, you will receive new certificates within 30 days at your correspondence addresses. |

Re: How to make correction in father's name in 10th certificate? If you want correction ( father's name ) in your documents ( 10th and 12th ) then you have to visit board office for correction. Along with you and documents in which you require correction you also have to keep with yourself some necessary documents as proof for the correction. |

Re: How to make correction in father's name in 10th certificate? You can write an application for change of name in the certificate with supported documents. Your school principle will forward the application to the respective board for correction. If you have all the documents to support the correction, then surely you will get the name corrected in the certificate. |

Contact the school principal and inform him about the mistake in your certificate. He will ask you to fill the application form regarding name correction and you need to pay the specified see, your request will be forwarded to the main board and you will get new certificate with your father's name corrected in a 10th. |

It will take some time and you will definitely get the corrected name on your mark sheet. You can also contact you school from where you studied and they will let you know what you have to do to correct it. Normally, school is responsible for all the correction and they will forward your application. |

To make correction in Fathers's name in 10th certificate, you need to visit the authority or School Board which has conducted your 10th class exams. There they would explain the procedure for the same. You might need to fill the application form and should submit id proof of your father with the correct name. You need to pay the prescribed fee and submit the application form. The name would be changed after some days. Even for Intermediate also, the process is same. You need to visit the Board of Intermediate and follow the same procedure. You can also check with your college faculty to get guidelines or more information on this. Please do not neglect this. It may cause problems in future if the name is incorrect or slightly different. |
