It is possible for diploma candidate to pursue Bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering after diploma in Electrical and Electronics. You can apply for Joint Entrance Examination. 2. Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by CBSE. Diploma candidates are eligible for admission in Indian Institute of Technology. 3. You need to wait for next year exam notification for JEE 2018. |

There is entrance exam called Joint Entrance Examination which is conducted for admission in Bachelor of Technology. Your rank in competitive exam will decide which branch you will be eligible for admission in Bachelor's degree of technology. The name of exam is Joint Entrance Exam. It is conducted by CBSE every year. This exam has two stages JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Diploma candidates can get admission in Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering. |

Re: Is there any possibility of doing aeronautical after completion of diploma course? No, you are not eligible to do Aeronautical Engineering course after completion of your Diploma course. To be eligible to pursue Aeronautical Engineering course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with PCM stream or three years Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering course from a Government recognised institution. So, being a Diploma holder in Electrical and Electronics Engineering candidate, you are not eligible to pursue Aeronautical Engineering course. |

For diploma candidates there is option of Lateral Entry Entrance Exam which would give admission in 2nd year of college. You must qualify this exam and apply for admission in the respective college of your choice.
