GRADING SYSTEM IN ONE WAY IS GOOD AND IN ONE WAY IS BAD .
GOOD IN THE SENSE THAT IT HELPS THE STUDENT OF LOW KNOWLDGE TO PASS AND PREVENT HIM/HER FROM COMMITTING SUICIDE DUE TO BEING FAIL IN THE EXAMS.
SECONDLY COMPETETION IN THIS CASE REMAINS ALMOST EQUAL FOR DULL OR BRILLIANT STUDENT.
AND NOT GOOD IN THE SENSE THAT BRILLIANT STUDENTS ARE NOT ABLE TO SHOW THEIR INTELLEGENCY EVEN AFTER WORKING HARD.BUT IF THEY APPLY FOR JOBS THEN THEIR KNOWLDGE WORKS THERE.
HENCE THE CONCLUSION IS THAT IT'S GOOD FOR WEAK STUDENTS BUT A CURSE FOR BRILLIANT STUDENTS.

Good luck.............

Grading system a new step taken by the government hopes to be a different step taken to give students a change .many think that it is not a good option because it does not differentiate but i want to tell that at such a low level their is no need to differentiate. so i think it is a good option for a change

Re: Is grading system making a students life easier?

I agree that the grading system is making life easier for students and reducing suicides.
But if a student can't handle the pressure of class 10 syllabus, then how can he expect to handle the huge pressure of class 12. After all, class 12 syllabus is several times more than class 10. The question is not about how relieved the weak students are or how depressed the brilliant students are. In the long run all of them will have to encounter the marking system.
So why not do it at that class where the syllabus and pressure is much less.

Re: Is grading system making a students life easier?

No.because in grading system we cant say he or she is better ........
In grade...
90-100>0
80-89>e]
70-79>a
60-69>b
50-59>c
40-49>d
30-39>f
below 30 fail.....

Here 80 and 89 have same priority......
So grading system is not correct

grading system is good in some way and bad in some way there is always who support it and some are against it,the first disadvantage of the grading system is that there is no way you can fail ,if you are even failing in grading system that means you are useful and you have no right to do the course you are doing ,but one advantage is that to maintain an good grade you have to consistently do good even if you loose one or two marks any were there is chance that you may loose your grade which you are expecting ,the other major disadvantage is that some times the faculty can influence the grades in this system and it happens in many a places

Re: Is grading system making a students life easier?

Grading system even has a good side along with a bad side. The grading system's advantage is that it will reduce competition among students to get into the top slots but the students who study well feel it bad because the student who get 85 marks and the one who score between 85<90 will be awarded the same grade. So,there is no difference between the one who score less and who score more.

Well the students who doesn't score well has the advantage of it because they have very slight chances of getting failed in the examination. It even decreases the tension among students but the bad part is the value of the examination is decreased.Examinations are conducted to test a student's knowledge about the subject but when he/she is awarded grades for his knowledge then what is the difference between the studying one's and the one's who lack knowledge.

So,i think grade system is not good when compared to the mark system.

Re: Is grading system making a students life easier?

Grading system has definitely reduced competition among students.
It is surely beneficial for students who are average in studies, but i dont think top scorers have liked this system as they are always inquisitive for knowing who is topper.
So, the may have worked good for 10th, but i dont think it will work for +2 & competitive exams.
