DROD Stands for Defense Research and Development Organization.


Required Qualifications for DRDO Examination:

you have to complete your Graduation Degree in Engineering/ Medicine / Agriculture or Post Graduation in Science.
Your age Must Between 21 - 30 years.


Age Relaxation =>

5 years - SC/ST
3 years - OBC
10 years - Physically Handicapped


Selection Procedure:

you have to Apply for Written Exam. Written Test Consist Only Objective Type Questions Which is Mainly Related to General science & your Engineering Stream. After Get Success in Written exam you will get Call for Interview.

So, here is the detailed eligibility criteria for DRDO Exam ...

You need to have graduation in Engineering or Medicine or Agriculture in Science can apply for DRDO .
You need to have PASSED 10+2 +4 pattern EXAMS or 10+2 +3+2 pattern EXAM are eligible.
Your age should between 21 to 30.

Age Relaxation in DRDO Exam

05 years --------- SC/ST candidates
03 years ----------OBC candidates
05 years ----------Physically Handicapped Persons

::: Information About DRDO Exam :::

DRDO stands for Defence Research and Development Organisation and this is controlled by the central govt of india and this is conducted the scientist entrance test for requiting the scientist or engineer post in different departments.

For writing this entrance test, you need to qualify the required requirements like educational qualifications and age limit and selection procedure are given bellow follow carefully.

::: Required Requirements :::

For attending the DRDO SET entrance exam, required educational qualifications are you must completed the engineering degree in following any one of the field they include or you must completed the M.Sc in science filed.

1. Electronics & Communication Engineering,
2. Mechanical Engineering,
3. Computer Science & Engineering,
4. Chemical Engineering,
5. Electrical Engineering,
6. Other engineering Fields.

And also required minimum age limit should be 21 years and maximum age limit should be 30 years and here age relaxation is also available for reserved category candidates as per govt rules such as 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for PH candidates and 5 years for Ex-Serviceman.

For requiting these posts in DRDO conducted the written test like SET and interview, apart from first conducted the written test and this test containing the objective type questions from your engineering filed subjects and after qualifying the written test directly called for interview.

DRDO stands for Defence Research and Development Organisation. It comes under Public Sector Unit.

In order to appear in DRDO entrance exam You must have B.Tech/B.E. degree in Electronics & Communication Engg / Mechanical Engg / Computer Science & Engg/ Chemical Engg/ Electrical Engg from a recognized University.

You must have minimum 60% marks or 6.75 CGPA in overall B.Tech course.

You must be Indian.

Your age must be in between 21 to 30 years. There is some age relaxation for OBC, SC , ST and PH students.

For SC/ST Candidates- 5 years age relaxation
For OBC candidates - 3 years age relaxation
For Physically Handicapped Persons - 5 years relaxation.

the qualification criteria:
Any engineering graduate with B.Tech or MSc degree in Aero, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Computer, Electronics/Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Metallurgy etc and Science subjects such as Chemistry, Physics and Maths/ Operations Research/ Statistics etc. The age limit is 28 years. For SC/ST students there is an age relaxation by 5 years and for OBC, there is a 3 year age relaxation.

the eligibility criterion of DRDO scientist entry test(SET) is candidate should have minimum of first class(60%) in bachelor degree with the department Electronics
& Communication Engg. / Mechanical Engg. / Computer Science & Engg. / Chemical Engg. /
Electrical Engg. from a recognized University in the respective/relevant disciplines. for 10 point scale 60% means students should have more than 6.75 CGPA.


the upper age limit for DRDO SET examination is 28 years for general category candidate. there are relaxation for reserved candidate in upper age limit.

for SC/ST upto 5 years.
for OBC upto 3 years.
Upto 05 years for Physically Handicapped Persons (10 years for SC/ST and 08 years for OBC candidates) in identified disciplines even if no posts are reserved for them in these areas.
In case of Ex-serviceman, services rendered in the armed forces plus 3 years.

Hiiiiiiiii,

Minimum eligibility criteria for DRDO examination are as follows: -

1. Pass B.E. or B.Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics & Communication Engg. or Mechanical Engg. or Computer Science Engg. or Chemical Engg. or Electrical Engg. with a minimum of 65 % aggregate marks from a recognized Institute / University.

2. Nationality - Indian

3. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates.

NOTE: - Final year appearing candidates can also apply.
