Being a B.Tech in EEE degree holder you are eligible for appearing in IBPS bank SO ( Specialist officer ) examination for the post of IT officer as per your educational qualification. Apart from your educational qualification , you need to be an Indian national with your age lying within 20 years to 30 years for appearing in the same examination. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. On the basis of your educational qualification you can even apply for the posts of bank clerk and bank probationary officer. Having completed your B.Tech in EEE which includes Electronics engineering you are eligible for appearing in IBPS SO examination for the post of IT officer. --> Apart from your educational qualification, you must hold following qualifications too :- * You must have the nationality of India. * Your age must lie within 20 years to 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. * You must have good communication skills along with the knowledge to operate computer. IBPS SO stands for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection Specialist Officer. IBPS has released notification for SO exam of 2017. The online application will begin from 7th November, 2017. You can apply for exam at official website of IBPS. Electrical and Electronics Engineering candidates are eligible for Specialist officer as IT officer Scale I. You are eligible for this post. The age criteria for general category candidate is 20-30 years. There is three years upper age relaxation to OBC and five years to SC/ST candidates in upper age limit. |

IBPS ( Institute of Banking Personnel Selection ) conducts entrance examination for recruitment in various banks. Yes, you are eligible to appear in Specialist Officer examination. The examination is conducted for recruitment in various post. The eligibility to appear in examination for IT is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in 4 year course in IT/Electronics/Electrical/Computer etc. So, you can appear in examination. The eligibility criteria for Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection Common Written exam for post of Specialist officer is : 1. Four years bachelor's degree in technology in any stream like Electronics or Electronics or Communication or Telecommunication etc. EEE candidates with 3 years IT work experience can apply for IT Officer Scale I. 2. The age limit is 20-30 years. OBC candidates get three years upper age relaxation and SC/ST candidates get five years. The online application starts from 7th November, 2017. |

Yes, you are eligible to appear in IBPS SO examination. The examination is conducted by IBPS for recruitment of Specialist officer. The eligibility to appear in examination varies with different post. As, you have completed your B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering you can appear in examination for recruitment as IT officer. The age limit to appear in examination is 20-30 years with relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category. So, you can appear in examination and after qualifying in all stages of examination will become eligible for recruitment in a nationalised bank.
