Being a girl candidate there is no way by following which you can become an officer in Indian Air force as at this level of academics only unmarried Indian male candidates are eligible for join Indian defense services. But you can become an officer in Indian Air force once you complete your graduation along with Class 12th with PCM group by qualifying CDS ( Combined Defense Services ) examination and AFCAT ( Air force Common Admission Test ). Re: Procedure to become an Air Force officer after completion of 12th standard as a girl? Girls are not eligible for Permanent Commission or Officer post in Indian Air Force after 12th. To join Air force for girls candidates minimum required qualification is bachelor degree. So, after the degree you will become eligible to appear in AFCAT examination. The examination is conducted in two stages as written and SSB. So, after qualifying in examination you will become eligible for recruitment as pilot in Indian Air Force. |

To be eligible to apply for Air Force, you have to apply for NDA examination conducted by UPSC. You should be an unmarried male candidate, should be in the age range of 16.5 to 19.5 years and should be physically as well as mentally healthy. So, being a female candidate, you are not eligible to apply for Air Force. |

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for Indian Air Force wing through NDA examinations that is conducted by UPSC. However, you can join Officer Training Academy after completing your graduation. Only graduate students are eligible for officer training academy wing and you can join in OTA by qualifying in the CDS entrance exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. www.upsc.gov.in |

No, after completion of 12th standard you are not eligible for Indian Air force Exam because you are a female candidate. Sophos complete graduation degree then you can apply for CDS exam which is conducted for Indian Air Force. To join Indian Air Force Academy, you should have completed engineering or graduation with physics, mathematics from a recognised University and age limit should be in between 19 to 23 years. Female candidates are not eligible for National Defence Academy entrance examination which is held twice every year by Union Public Service Commission. In other words, you can not apply at present. Interested female candidates can apply for Air Force Common Admission test after bachelor's degree in science or engineering. Final year candidates can also apply. |

Girl candidate have to complete her graduation to apply for AFCAT( Air Force Common Admission Test.) First of all complete your graduation then you can apply Air Force entrance exams. After graduation female candidates are eligible for CDS and AFCAT exam. |

Sorry, to inform you that after 10+2 as a girl candidate you are not eligible to apply for Indian air force, because after 10+2 the procedure to join Indian air force is through NDA (National Defence Academy) and for NDA exam only male candidates are allowed to apply. So, girl candidates who want to join Indian air force can apply through CDS (Combined Defence Services) after completing graduation. No, you cannot become army officer after completing 12th class because girls are not allowed for army after 12th. But you can become army officer after graduation. After completing graduation you can apply for CDS exam. CDS (Combined Defense Service) exam is conducted twice every year by UPSC. The eligibility requirements for the CDS are as follows: - The candidate should be citizen of India. - The candidate should complete graduation level degree from any recognised university. - The age limit should be between 19 - 23 years. - There is age relaxation for reserved candidates. Re: Procedure to become an Air Force officer after completion of 12th standard as a girl? The full form of NDA is National Defence Academy. NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice every year by UPSC. The eligibility criteria: 1. You should have 10+2 from any recognized board. 2. Age criteria is 16.5-19.5 years. 3. Unmarried male candidates can apply for this exam. Girls are not eligible for this exam. You can pursue bachelor's degree to apply for defence related exams like CDS, AFCAT etc. |

So, you are not eligible to join service now. After completion of bachelor degree candidates who have passed 12th with Mathematics and Physics as main paper are eligible to appear in AFCAT examination. Candidates after qualifying in qualifying in written stage will become eligible for SSB ( second stage ) and after final qualifying in it become eligible for recruitment in Flying Branch as Short Service Commission.
