Presently there is not a great scope in this branch in India.But many jobs opportunities are now available for the students in these fields. You can apply in many medical relatied field after this course. There are lots of institutes in India which provides this courses . As this is the special branch of engineering which combines Engineering and medicine so the implementation of this branch is quite realistic. You can get jobs in hospitals, engineering firms, drug inspector, Drug manufacturing company..etc. |

Biomedical engineering teaches you the engineering processes in sensitive bodies, as opposed to other engineering degrees. This enables you to apply your knowledge of sensitive systems into many fields of engineering, enabling you to be the best kind of engineer. Biomedical engineering is that area of science that deals with applying engineering principles and technology in the medical field; helping with the diagnosis and treatment for various diseases. There are lots of opening for bio medical graduates abroad. After 4 years, there will surely be a huge requirement in India too. Almost all hospitals and companies like Biocon, GE Medical Systems, Glaxo SmithKline employ biomedical engineers. |
