I took lateral entry directly to second year of Engineering after my Diploma, I had not studied 10 2. Now I CAN NOT apply for Technical branch in AFCAT online application, why...??? |

The diploma course studied should be equivalent to the 10+2. Also it should be from recognised institute. If you have studied all the courses from recognised institutes certainly you are eligible for the exam. The age limit will vary depending on the branch you apply. Like for ground duty maximum age limit is 27 years, for flying its 23 years, for technical branch its 28 years. |
