Most institutes offer the BCA admission through entrance exam conducted by respective university. BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Applications and it is a 3 years undergraduate degree. # Eligibility for BCA course : -> HSC or 12 th class pass in any stream with English as on of the subjects with minimum 45% of marks in aggregate from government recognised college is required to join in this course. # Specialisations in BCA course : -> Database management -> Systems analysis -> Computer graphics -> Word processing -> Programming languages -> Accounting applications etc. # Some good colleges offering BCA course : -> Acharya Nagarjuna university, Guntur -> Andhra university, Vishakhapatnam -> Hans institute, Delhi -> Arya Vidyapeeth college, Guwahati -> BMS college for women, Bangalore -> Dhanraj baid Jain college, Chennai etc. |

Re: Can I do BCA course after passing 12th class? Yes, you are eligible to apply. Universities usually consider candidates with a minimum of 45-50% marks in 12th. IMS Gaziabad, Bharath Vidyapeeth University, etc offers admission to the course. Admissions are done on the priority basis of marks obtained in 12th. College web portal contains adequate details on admission. |
