Re: Eligibility to claim tamilnadu state quota in NIT Tiruchirapalli through AIEEE We are presently in Doha, Qatar. My sons are studying here in 8th std and 2nd std CBSE. Here education is good and they are happy. But here all the Indian parents are moving to their native for their ward's higher education due to NRI Quota. If any one clear my following doubts I will be so thankful 1. As far as Tamilnadu state is concerned, if a student should study Professional course like (Engr, Medical) how many years he should study in India? 2. Since parents here believe that if their wards don%u2019t do the schooling from 8th Std to 12th Std (for 5 years) in India they may fall under NRI Quota, while joining professional courses and they may have to pay huge fees every year? Is it true? Please Clarify. Thanks in advance. |

What will be the state of eligibility? The state of permanent address as given in the passport will be considered as the state of eligibility. At the time of reporting at the reporting centre, he/ she will be required to produce Passport in original." Thanks |
