Sir, i attempt first time cpt on Dec2009,but that time i am not passed and after that i attempt Dec2010 exam. and also that time i am not pass i get 98 marks. Totally i attempt two times in three year. first i attempt Dec2009 exam. So please say that i attempt next june exam or not................... |

CPT June 2011 Applications duly filled in will be received by hand delivery at the offices of Institute at New Delhi and at the Decentralised Offices of the Institute at Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Kanpur, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Pune upto 25th April, 2011. Candidates residing in these cities are advised to take advantage of this facility. It may be noted that there is no provision for acceptance of application forms after 25th April, 2011 with late fee. Alternatively the candidate may fill up the CPT 2011 examination application form online at http://icaiexam.icai.org from 4th April, 2011 (10:00 hrs) to 25th April, 2011 |

CPT exam stands for common proficiency test of chattered accountant. there are some criteria for this exam . * the candidates after +2 can apply for cpt exam , from any stream he/she should have interest. *there is no age limit . *there is now a new rule cpt is totally exempted for graduate students. they can direct join from inter . for cpt you have to pass or appeared +2 exam after that you can appear cpt exam. to crack cpt you have to get 50% in aggregate. for more information you can visit website http://www.icai.nic.in good luck....... |

(a) A candidate shall be eligible to appear in Common Proficiency Test CPT June 2011 to be held on 19th June 2011, if he has: (i) Either passed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) or its equivalent or must have appeared in the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) or its equivalent of a recognized Institution, and (ii) Registered for CPT Course with Board of Studies of ICAI on or before 1st April 2011. (b) A candidate who is already registered for Professional Education-I Course with Board of Studies of ICAI and switched over to CPT course on or before 1st April 2011 will also be eligible to appear in June CPT 2011. Requirement for Passing the Common Proficiency Test: A candidate shall ordinarily be declared to have passed the Common Proficiency Test if he obtains at one sitting a minimum of 50 percent marks in the aggregate of all the four subjects / sections comprised in CPT (Examination), subject to the principle of negative marking. It is clarified that there is no requirement of securing minimum passing marks in a subject/section of CPT examination. There will be negative marking for each wrong answer. 1/4 (One Fourth) mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Please note that multiple darkened circles for a question will also be treated as wrong answer. Any fraction of mark in aggregate will be rounded off to the next full mark. It is clarified that there is no provision for improvement of result CPT examination in the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988. Therefore, such students who have once passed the CPT examination are not eligible to apply/appear afresh/again in the CPT examination. |

And yes Individual Marks also effects a lot you need to crack 30% in each Subject that means if a paper is of 50 marks then minimum Passing marks For this will be 15. CPT June 2011 Application Form for Paper Pencil Test CPT June 2011 Applications for admission to Common Proficiency Test June 2011 (Paper-Pencil Mode) is required to be made on the relevant prescribed form as contained in the CPT June 2011 Information Brochure, which may be obtained from the following address on payment of Rs. 600/- (Rs.500/- towards examination fee and Rs. 100/- towards cost of CA CPT Exam 2011 application form and CPT June 2011 Information brochure) per CPT June 2011 application form. Contact: Additional Secretary (Examinations), The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhawan, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi – 110 002. The CPT Exam 2011 fee for candidates opting for Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha and Bahrain centres will be US $160 (US $ 150 towards examination fee and US $ 10 towards cost of application form and information brochure) or its equivalent Indian Currency. Common Proficiency Test 2011 application forms duly filled in may be sent so as to reach the Additional Secretary (Examinations) at New Delhi not later than 25th April, 2011. Re: Rules for CA CPT examination in June 2011? The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is now more focussed on the career of the students. Previously, bcoz of low passing requirements; maximum students got passed in CPT but they were tagged in IPCC exams inspite of 3 to 4 attempts. So, the Institute has taken right step by increasing passing mark in cpt 2011 by 120 marks and we need to get 30 in all the 4 subjects so that CPT passed students can also pass IPCC and Final exams. |
