Yes, you are eligible for Bachelor of Technology in Aeronautics after Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. There is lateral entry scheme for diploma holders. Diploma holders can get direct admission in second year of engineering through Lateral Entry Entrance Test. LEET is conducted by State Technical University. The minimum percentage of marks required is 60% in diploma. You can also apply for Joint Entrance Exam 2019 for admission in Indian Institute of Technology. IITs are the best institution for Aeronautics engineering in India. |

No, you are not eligible to study B.Tech Aeronautics after completion of your Diploma in ECE. To be eligible to pursue B.Tech Aeronautics course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with PCM stream or three years Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering course from a Government recognised board. So, being a Diploma holder in ECE, you are eligible to get direct admission in second year of B.Tech ECE course but, not in B.Tech Aeronautics course. |

There is lateral entry entrance examination for admission of diploma candidates in second year of engineering. You can apply for LEET exam of your state. The academic qualification required for LEET exam is diploma passed from a recognized technical state. Candidate should have at least 60% marks in diploma. Other than LEET, you can apply for Joint Entrance Exam for admission in IITs. Depending upon your rank in exam, you can select your stream of engineering. |

Am I eligible for B.Tech Aeronautics after Diploma in ECE? Is there any lateral entry scheme for Diploma holders? I'm studying Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering. After this I was thinking if I will be eligible than I will study B.Tech in Aeronautics. So kindly confirm em whether I'm eligible or not? Is there any lateral entry system for Diploma holder students? |
