Since you have mentioned that the age of your son will be around 14 years and 10 months by the time he appears in his Class 10th board examination so he is certainly eligible for appearing in his Class 10th board examination as the minimum age requirement for appearing in the same examination is 14 years and 5 months by the 1st March that year in which the candidate is going to appear in his/her board examination. |

First thing I would like to say you that you have not mentioned your board of examination then it is difficult to exactly predict the age criteria of you concerned about board as it varies with board of education. But I would let you know the age criteria for CBSE class 10th board examination, which is 14 years by the 1st October of that year in which you are pursuing your class 10th academics. So being born on 04/04/2007 your son is eligible for appearing in class 10th board examination if he studies with CBSE board. |

Candidates who have pursued 10th standard in the present academic year are eligible to apply for 10th standard board examinations. If you are unable to fulfill the age criteria required then, you have to submit the Medical certificate from any recognized Doctor. |

What is the minimum age for appearing class 10th board examination? Sir, my son Bob date of birth is 04.04.2007, now he is going to class 7th, in the 10th board examination time his age will 14 years 10 months. He will be eligible for appearing the exam or not? |
